Opinions, Attitudes and the Outcome

Since I have been posting to different blogs about the Kocis case a few things I have noticed is the opinions, attitudes and the outcome of everything that has been posted.

At first, I thought a lot of the different blogs were a good thing because we all had a place to post our opinion and ask questions. Then the more I would post, the more I started to notice the opinions, the attitude and the outcome.

Regardless of any fact in this case, we have people that have taken their opinion to the extreme. This of course starts the retaliation (or attitude) and once that takes place we have the outcome of all out war on line.

I found it funny that people claim they are not involved with any one person in this case, but if you ever post anything they don’t agree with…. Watch out. The retaliation starts and then we have people getting upset, irritated or flat out angry or mad. (Be careful, some think that angry attitude will make you a killer)

People have posted they are not a friend of Sean and Grant, but if you ever post anything against them it will people rush to their defense. People post they are not friends of Harlow and Joe, but post something against them and the posters once again defend then. It just makes no sense to me, if you are not truly involved with any party in this case why do some take the retaliation to the extreme?

For me, when I post something, it is only my opinion. When people try to convince me my opinion is wrong, it usually ends with me having stronger beliefs in what I was thinking to start with. My opinion in this case has not changed since the arrest of Harlow and Joe. Of course with the attitude, we end with the outcome of people saying I’m changing my story or I have contraindicated myself. Rest assured fellow bloggers, my opinion has not wavered in the least since I have been posting about this case.

My opinions have been based on facts and my personal thoughts and I think it’s funny as people jump up and down and holler and scream and say my opinion is right, yours is wrong, yet they offer nothing to back up the opinion they have posted. If people truly wanted to prove the point they were trying to make then it would make sense for that person to post enough evidence to prove what point they are trying to make.

It’s also interesting that people want to post all the different theories they have about this case. Of course this has started a lot of retaliation and attitude. The outcome, I think is people have taken a stronger stance against anyone posting anything they don’t believe. Is this right? Well right or not, it’s just humans being human. No one likes to be told they are wrong. It has been very obvious all of the poster here are human (ha except a couple I can think of..lol) and we don’t want to accept some stranger telling us we are wrong. I can live with that, I agree to disagree when it comes to a lot of different thoughts and opinions posted about this case. What I cannot understand is the flat out anger that comes from some poster and yet they still claim that they are not involved with any one person involved in this case.

Then the worst part ever is the people that are trying so hard to be injected into this case. Why in God’s name would anyone want to be a part of a murder case? This will never make any sense to me whatsoever. Do some people think they will obtain fame and fortune from becoming involved in a murder case? It just makes no sense at all.

In conclusion I want to remind everyone that we are all entitled to our own opinions.
If you want to change a fact of this case post the proof. If you get mad or upset, don’t know what to tell you other than chill out. This is blogging and nothing here should be personal for anyone. (Unless you are involved with someone in this case)

My question to everyone is: Who are you? And what purpose do you serve in being involved in this case?

I just wanted to post this before people think I actually care about your true identity. I honestly don’t care; when I was asking who you are I was thinking more of why people are involved in blogging about this case and if they are actually associated with someone directly involved in this case.

Please don’t think I was asking for your actual true identity because I was not.

That is a very good question.
I do not feel that I am "involved" in this case. But I do spend too much time on "finding out what has happened and what is going on".
For me it started with "stumbling upon news of the death of B. Kocis - then as I looked into it I believed Harlow was wrongly accused - then totally got absorbed in all aspects. My feelings on the case changed and I just feel the justice system will take care of the specifics regarding the people involved.
But - one thing has kept me here and I have to admit a certain strange obsession.
Damon Kruezer - this person is why I believe I am "involved" now - solely. I have never in my life seen a more hateful, destructive, mean spirited and downright dangerous person prowling the internet.
This has been my first "go 'round" on blogs, not sure how long I personally will be hanging around [my boyfriend does not like it] but I cannot go until I have done absolutely everything I can to get rid of Damon Kruezer.
I am sorry Jakester that I took up so much space but you had a great question.
You know you and I are in the same town and I once met a Jake several years ago - just once through a friend- I wonder if it was you.
Good night friend.

Oh, I thought you were in Miami. I looked at your blog profile and thought it said Miami. Jake is not a common name [a very cool one IMO], thought it might have been you.
