Security Officer fired.
On July 1, 2008 a new state law took effect that now allow Floridians to take their guns to work as long as they stay locked in their cars.
A Disney security Officer was fired on Monday for bringing a gun to work. Actually Edwin Sotomayor was fired for violating company policy and failing to cooperate with an investigation.
Seems he might have had a gun in his car but refused to allow Disney to search his car.
According to reports he is going to fight this decision by Disney, legally. Sotomayor said he was going to fight it for all Disney employees.
