12 year old shot and killed trick or treating in SC.
A 12 year boy was out trick or treating and as he and his family approached a house, they thought they heard fireworks.
However, those firecrackers were actually gun shots. The home owner started shooting from inside of his home and he struck the dad and his two boys.
The 12 year old boy died. The father and his brother suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The police said they are in disbelief and they do not know why the shooting occurred.
The suspect is in custody and the police have not released his name for some reason.
