Deputy shot, but saved by…….

Pasco County Deputies responded to a burglary at Sam’s Quick Mart. As deputies arrived two teenagers fled the scene. As the teenager fled, one shot at a deputy and the deputy was hit.
The deputy was saved from serious injuries by his metal business card holder. That’s right the bullet struck the metal business card hold and saved the deputy from serious injury.
The two teens have been charged with armed burglary of a business. No charges have been filed related to the shooting as of now.
The teens did admit to making a forced entry and that they stole jewelry, electronics, clothing and a semi-automatic handgun.
