Anyway, that’s what Charles Whitley done down in Bradenton.

Charles Whitley, 43, decided to turn himself in after he robbed a bank. Whitley went into a bank on Wednesday morning and gave the teller a note stating he had a gun and wanted cash. The teller gave him a handful of cash.
Now one would think most bank robbers wants all the money in the bank, right?
Not the case with Whitley. As the teller tried to give him more money, he told her no. He was not greedy and did not want anymore money.
Then Whitley was even kind enough to apologize to the bank employees before leaving.
Whitley got away and apparently he decided to party it up and spent all the stolen cash on drugs and alcohol.
I guess after the party was over he was out of money and out of drugs and alcohol. Whitley then decided to do something logical and turn himself in.
So he went to a payphone and called the Sheriff’s Office and told them what he had done and again apologized and then waited to be picked up.
He has been charged with armed robbery.
