Robbery Suspect Arrested Hiding in Attic of Apartment Complex
Alfonzo Stevenson was arrested by Cincinnati SWAT and SOFAST after 2 hour search


Cincinnati, OH - On 06/17/09 at approximately 1:50 pm, the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team/Cincinnati SWAT arrested Alfonzo Stevenson in the attic at 1716 Casey Drive in Cincinnati, Ohio. Stevenson was sought by the Cincinnati Police Department for 6 Felony charges and some other miscellaneous charges. Those charges included Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Robbery, Theft, Harassment, Weapons under Disability, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Retaliation against a Witness. Stevenson has an extensive criminal history which includes Robberies, Felonious Assaults, and Drug Possession.

On 06/17/09 at approximately 12:10 pm, members of SOFAST went to 1716 Casey Drive in Cincinnati, Ohio in search of Stevenson. After an initial search of the property, it was determined that Stevenson had barricaded himself in the attic of the apartment. Due to the seriousness of the charges, the Cincinnati SWAT was contacted for tactical entry. Cincinnati SWAT entered the attic space of the apartment and found Stevenson hiding in the back corner where he was arrested without incident. Stevenson was booked into the Hamilton County Detention Center.
