Samuel Lehman, Police Intern Arrested

Police Intern Arrested….

Samuel Lehman, 20, may never get the opportunity to become a real police officer all because of a drunken night of fun....

Lehman was an intern with the Madison Police Department.

And guess who arrested Lehman, right…Madison Police Department…

Apparently Lehman decided to go out and get drunk and as he was walking down the street he came upon three men who weren’t doing anything illegal when all of the sudden Lehman pulled out his Madison Police Department Intern ID and said he was an undercover detective.

Lehman then allegedly used his thumb and index finger like a gun and ordered the victims to the ground.

Apparently at least one of the men refused to comply with his request to get on the ground so Lehman pulled out his cell phone and said he needed back up and then threw one of the men down to the ground.

A short time later Lehman decided to let the men go. He told the 3 men that they were lucky this time. I think this is funny, what where they lucky for? What was he thinking at the time? I think he was pretty lucky since we are not reading about 3 mean beating up a drunk police intern...lol... Anyway,

The 3 men decided to call the real police and once they arrived on scene

Lehman was arrested.

Sadly for Lehman a police intern has no authority to do or tell anyone anything.

Lehman was charged with

Underage drinking
Disorderly conduct (2 Counts)
Impersonating a police officer (which is a felony)

And if that wasn’t bad enough his police internship should be ending soon.

This goof ball was dangerous -- be glad he never made the force.
