Another felon dead, the elderly victim shot and killed the suspect.

We have been reading more and more about the victims of crimes taking action against the felons that are committing crimes against them.

A lot that we have read about lately has involved elderly victims and what they done to survive the crime being committed against them.

This time is no different, the victim is a 74 year old man and when he went to bed Monday night and then all of the sudden another man appeared in his bedroom.

The suspect was Lee Andrew Johnson, 49, started to strike Hosie Harris, 74, in the face and head and was demanding money.

During the attack the would be robber noticed that Harris had a .22 caliber rifle by his bed and then Lee Andrew Johnson decided to shoot the 74 year old victim.

Thank god Johnson was a stupid criminal and he did not know how to turn the safety off on the riffle. Johnson tried to shoot the 74 year old victim and gave up because the gun would not fire.

Johnson then laid the gun down and went to the closest in the bedroom and started looking for money and other valuables.

When Lee Johnson was in the closet, the victim decided to take some action.
Hosie Harris took the 22 riffle and turned the safety off and shot twice.

Harris then went to a neighbor’s house and called 911. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene and Hosie Harris was taken to the hospital for his injuries he received during the attack. Harris is expected to make a full recovery.

Right now the case has been ruled self defense and Harris will not face any charges. And I would hope he does not. After all someone broke into his house and attacked him.

Anyway it’s just sad to see to many elderly people being subjected to these criminals. But at the same time it’s awesome to see so many of them fighting back.
It makes me wonder why a criminal would even target an elderly person. It seems in the area I’m at there are a lot of elderly people and none of them seem to have enough for anyone to want to target them and try to rob them.

What do these criminals think? Well obviously they don’t think at all but if I had to guess I would think the criminals think that people on disability or social security just has a ton of loot laying around for them to help their self too.

I mean really stupid criminals if you are that desperate and going to risk being killed or spending the rest of you life in prison why wouldn’t you plan some robbery that would pay off. Rob a place to where you can at least get enough money to get out of town or hide out for a while after your attack. But nope these smart criminals attack elderly people in hopes of getting 100 bucks. Is it just me or does 100 bucks not seem worth risking my life for?

Oh well that’s the difference between good and bad. I don’t think the way criminals think and I thank God that I don’t. It’s just a shame that we live in a society where a middle aged person felt the need to rob a 74 year old.

Hopefully more and more criminals will get the point that we the people are feed up with being victims of senseless crimes and we are fighting back and if the criminal dies in the process, so be it. The world would be better off without people committing crimes against another person.
