The Power of the Press.. Wanted Couple found dead.

The Power of the Press.. Wanted Couple found dead.

Recently I had someone ask me about the influence of the press and how people reacted to the power of the press.

I responded by saying; the power of the press is remarkable. For the most part we the people want to have faith and belief in what’s being reported to us by the media. Some people believe everything the press reports, some dispute that same information and some of course form their own opinion. So to determine how the press affects people is really hard to tell in my opinion. I think the press does have a big influence with a lot of people.

And now we have this case and how the Power of the Press affected two Arizona women.

I posted an America’s Most Wanted Update on the Most Wanted Women.

The update included the hunt for Tina Loesch and Skye Henson. The update reported that in 1998, Barbara Loesch was electrocuted and drowned in her hot tub. Two years earlier, her husband was gunned down while working his morning paper route. Cops believe their daughter and her gay lover may have been behind both deaths -- both for revenge, and for $525,000 in life insurance.

A few hours after that story aired on AMW, someone discovered a Dodge Durango in a rural part of Tucson, AZ. Inside were the bodies of two women.

The body in the back seat was carrying Tina Loesch’s ID.

The women in the front seat resembled Skye Hanson. Both women were shot in the head.

Police have reported this case to be a suicide pact. They also reported there was an 8 page suicide note left at the scene.

Oddly enough in the 8 pages as they proclaim their love for each other they also take the time in blame hitman Bradley Steckman for the murders they were wanted for.

Police believe that Tina Loesch shot Skye Hanson before turning the gun on herself.

Give a new meaning to love hurts. If they truly could provide information on hitman Bradley Steckman for the murder then why would they take such drastic action and end their own life. Of course we will never know the answers to all the unanswered questions about this case now.

Tina Loesch's son, Kristopher, before their disappearance in 2001.

Police are still looking for Kristopher Loesch, Tina’s teenage son. If you have information about Kristopher Loesch contact the police or AMW.

The vehicle they were found in was registered to a women with past connections to Falls, Idaho. Hopefully the police can find Kristopher Loesch and he can provide some of the answers police need to close this case.

AMW Updates – Most Wanted Women

As I have posted before about bad boys and the things they do, now its time to dedicate this post to the wicked (or wanted) women.

Make sure you check out AMW and the wicked women they are trying to help apprehend.

Tina Loesch and Skye Hanson: In 1998, Barbara Loesch was electrocuted and drowned in her hot tub. Two years earlier, her husband was gunned down while working his morning paper route. Cops believe their daughter and her gay lover may have been behind both deaths -- both for revenge, and for $525,000 in life insurance.

Jacqueline LeBaron: The search for Jacqueline Tarsa LeBaron has continued for years, but agents have not given up the search. In fact, a new picture of the fugitive has surfaced, heating up the hunt for the woman Feds are calling a vicious killer.

Joey Offutt: When Pennsylvania State Police arrived at the scene of a house fire in Sykesville in the early morning hours of July 12, 2007, they weren't prepared for everything they were about to find. Once the fire was extinguished, some shocking details were revealed, and authorities are still struggling to answer all the questions left over from that day.

Sarah Pender: Since her expertly-executed prison escape on August 4, 2008, officials have been hot on the trail of Sarah Pender. Now, after a few short months on the lam, U.S. Marshals Service officials have turned up the heat on Pender, and she's the newest addition to their notorious 15 Most Wanted Fugitives List.

Heather Uboh: She's called herself Heather Uboh, along with at least 20 other aliases, and cops across the United States say this Nigerian is an accomplished scam artist, committing identity theft, wire fraud, larceny, passport fraud, forgery, and a variety of other deceptions in Texas, New York, New Jersey, Georgia, Colorado and Michigan.

Lindsay Harris, Jessie Foster, Jodi Brewer, and Misty Saens: On May 23, 2005, police outside of Springfield, Ill., made a shocking discovery when they arrived at a crime scene and found a pair of severed legs. For three years, the Illinois State Police diligently worked the Jane Doe case, and their hard work paid off in May 2008 when an FBI report and a DNA comparison helped to identify the victim as missing person Lindsay Harris.

AMW is looking for Leonardo Anselmo Cisneros

America Most Wanted is looking for Leonardo Anselmo Cisneros AKA Paul Joseph Harvey

Leonardo Anselmo Cisneros is wanted for murder in St. Petersburg, FL.

Last Seen in Tampa, FL

Possible Locations
Miami, FL, Bahamas, Cuba, Kingston, Kingston, Jamaica, Venezuela, Colombia

Trouble In Paradise For Lover's Husband

The island of Jamaica is paradise for many, with its sparkling waters, white-sand beaches and its reputation for romance. While visiting her native island in the summer of 1992, police say Denise Davidson -- a former swimsuit model -- had a fling with Leo Cisneros, a playboy nightclub owner.

Back in Florida, Davidson's marriage to her husband Louis, a successful pediatrician, wasn't going nearly so well. When the couple split up for good, Davidson found herself back in the arms of Cisneros. But meeting in the United States was tricky because Cisneros was wanted in the U.S. on drug charges. So, he decided to take matters into his own hands, and that meant killing Dr. Louis Davidson.

She found him bound, gagged and beaten to death.
Dr. Davidson Becomes The Hunted

Police say the first step for Cisneros was calling in two hit men -- Meryl "Tony" McDonald and Robert Gordon. On the morning of January 25, 1994, Dr. Davidson finished his shift at Bayfront Medical Center and returned to the apartment complex near St. Petersburg where he lived.

After changing his clothes, Dr. Davidson heard a knock on the door. Police are uncertain why he opened the door, but they are sure who was laying in wait: the two hitmen.

Police say Denise Davidson and Cisneros met up with the hitmen at a Tampa motel once the job was done.

Later that afternoon, a friend of Dr. Davidson's went to check on him, since he hadn't been answering the phone. She found him bound, gagged and beaten to death.

When St. Petersburg police began their forensic investigation, they realized one of the best clues was a shoe print.

Cops Find A Trail -- And It Led To Leo Cisneros

St. Petersburg police immediately questioned Denise Davidson. She remained calm, while cops had no idea a nervous Cisneros was hiding in the closet.

Cops kept Davidson in their sights around the clock. They even saw her on surveillance camera at a mail service location where they say she used Western Union terminal to wire $15,000 to one of the hitmen in Miami, and that left a paper trail.

When detectives tracked down the motel where they believed everyone met after the murder, they found a crucial piece of evidence: one of the hitmen had left his shoes. The blood on it matched Dr. Davidson's, and the sole matched a print left in the doctor's apartment.

That was the hard evidence police needed to arrest the two hit men, as well as Davidson herself as she was about to board a flight for Jamaica.

All three were convicted of first degree murder but Leo Cisneros, the man accused of masterminding the murder plot, is still out there.

Here is a list of the cases AMW will feature kicking off season 22

If you want a sneak peak click the names and it will take you to America’s Most Wanted site and you can view all the information before it airs on Saturday night.

Lamont Cooke: It was news AMW producers couldn't wait to hear: Lamont Cooke, wanted for his alleged involvement in a murder over a drug exchange gone bad, has been captured. Police alerted AMW of the arrest on July 2, 2008, saying that a viewer's tip led them straight to the accused killer's hideout in Vernon, Conn. Now Philadelphia police hope AMW viewers can lead them to alleged accomplice Shawn Clarke and the identity of the other kidnappers.

New Mexico Prison Escapees: Eight prisoners escaped from a jail in southern New Mexico on Aug. 23, 2008, using homemade tools to cut a hole in the facility's roof. Four men have been caught, but four other prisoners -- including convicted murderer Edward Salas -- are still at large, and a massive manhunt is underway to find them.

Mark Weinberger: All his life, Dr. Mark Weinberger believed he could do anything if he had enough power, money and resources. Unfortunately for him, the lies he told, the secrets he kept and the sacrifices he made along the way have come back to haunt him in a big way: the FBI needs your help to track down this narcissistic playboy before anyone else dies as a result of his negligence and deceit.

Amandeep Dhami: Sheriff's deputies in Sacramento, Calif. are leading a nationwide manhunt for 24-year-old Amandeep Singh Dhami, who cops say opened fire in a crowded sports arena on August 31, 2008, killing 26-year-old Parmjit Singh and critically wounding another man.

Jermaine Wilson: The NYPD says that on August 8, 2006, accused panderer Jermaine "Wimp the Pimp" Wilson killed his business partner -- Benson Bethel -- in an argument over, of all things, DMV fees for the minivan they used to transport their prostitutes around the city.

Derrick Owens: Police Officer Derek Owens was shot while chasing after four suspects he and his partner spotted in an abandoned garage. Though his initial prognosis for survival was good, he died during surgery later that night.

Shawn Clarke: Accused kidnapper Lamont Cooke is behind bars, and the Philadelphia police have their sights set on his accomplice, Shawn Clarke. Cops say Shawn Clarke was one of a group of Jamaican men who conspired to kidnap and hold a business owner for ransom. Once Clarke and his cohorts had kidnapped the man, they allegedly demanded $600,000 from one of his relatives in exchange for his safe release. Cooke was arrested after a tipster saw his face on AMW.

Tormu Prall: Cops say Tormu Prall's hot temper has resulted in arrest after arrest. Now, cops in Trenton, N.J. say Prall is in hot water over his latest rage, which led to the burning death of his brother and serious injury to his fiancée.

Dan Hiers: Dan Hiers -- a former cop as well as an accused murderer and child molester -- is on the U.S. Marshals' 15 Most Wanted List, and John Walsh has added him to his Dirty Dozen list -- the notorious group of fugitives he wants to see taken off the streets the most. Cops say he killed his wife, stole her truck, and fled three years ago, and he hasn't been seen since.

Click here to see Dan Hiers on AMW

Roy Hiatt: Cops say Roy Stephen Hyatt is a convicted sex offender on the run who still has an appetite for children. Police are looking for him on charges of downloading, possessing, and possibly distributing child pornography.

Dionne Garcia: After several years of hard work, the Chicago FBI's Joint Task Force on Gangs was able to indict 52 people in relation to the manufacture and distribution of PCP on the streets of the Windy City. Of all those indictments, only two people remain on the run. Agents say Dionne Garcia fled after being charged, probably with her common-law husband and their four children.

Click Here to see Dionne Garcia on AMW

Jose Orlando Lopez: Jose Orlando Lopez has been deported twice for crimes committed in the U.S., and authorities still can't seem to get rid of him. They say Lopez has so little respect for this country that he raped a stranger on a busy street in New York. Police believe he's running from his latest charges from 2004 to prevent being deported, again.

Click Here to see Jose Orlando on AMW

Taizhi Cui: In October 2006, Los Angeles' Korean community was shocked by a triple murder that happened in their own backyard. Cops say the deaths were the work of a jilted lover hell-bent on getting revenge on an ex-girlfriend and her new paramour. However, authorities are still looking for the man they say pulled the trigger ... Taizhi Cui.

Click Here to see Taizhi Cui on AMW

Kenneth Cofer: The fugitive task force in Oklahoma City hasn't forgotten about Kenneth Cofer -- and neither have we. Despite confusion about numerous look-alikes, Cofer is still a free man.

Edmundo Cerda-Anima: The manhunt for accused killer Edmundo Cerda-Anima has led agents south of the border. Investigators believe the former Hurricane Katrina contractor may be going back and forth between the U.S. and Mexico -- and if he's caught, he'll have to answer for a lot more than crossing the border.

Click here to see Edmundo Cerda-Anima on AMW

William Plemons: Police say William Plemons has a reputation as a real romantic ... that is, until you get to know him better. Plemons carried on a series of pen pal relationships from behind bars -- but according to authorities, he was more interested in money than love. When one woman threatened to unravel his alleged scheme, police say Plemons turned from Casanova ... to killer.

Click here to see William Plemons on AMW

Daniel San Diego: We’re looking back at the case of Daniel San Diego, accused of using violence to advance his own radical agenda. AMW Update

Luc Pierre-Charles wanted for First Degree Murder, Two Counts, Wesley Chapel, FL; Jul 28, 2006

Cops: Good Kids Fall In With A Bad Crowd

Derek James Pieper, a high school lacrosse player planning to attend college, was killed July 28, 2006 when cops say he became involved with a bad crowd.

Like many high school seniors, 17-year-old Derek James Pieper was short on gas money. To keep the tank full, Derek drove classmates at Wesley Chapel High School wherever they needed to go in exchange for gas money. The arrangement worked, but cops say it involved Derek with a dangerous crowd.

On July 15, 2006 Corporal Mike Jenkins gave a “Make the Right Choices” presentation at Wesley Chapel High. When the program was over, Derek talked with Mike and told him that he was involved with a group of guys that had guns and sold drugs. He gave them rides for gas money and had witnessed a shooting. He was scared. Mike told Derek to stay away from them and to call anytime if he needed help.

Cops say Luc Pierre-Charles Jr., also a Wesley Chapel senior, and Tyree A. Jenkins were two of the guys Derek was talking about. They had a conflict with a rival drug dealer and had asked Derek to help set him up, but Derek refused. On July 22, 2008 Pierre-Charles accused Derek of warning the rival drug dealer that they were after him.

Derek tried to stay away from them, but on July 28, 2006 cops say Derek left work at Bosco’s Italian To Go and went to a party at a friend’s house. After the party, Derek’s friend, 18-year-old Raymond Alphonse Veluz, asked Derek to help him buy marijuana, and Derek agreed.

Cops say Derek and Ray were good kids who weren’t known for getting into trouble. Derek was a member of Wesley Chapel’s lacrosse team who was planning to attend college, and Ray had only lived in the area for a few months.

That night Derek called Pierre-Charles' brother Andre. The boys were last seen alive in front of Pasco Woods Apartments, where Pierre-Charles and Andre lived.

Derek and Ray were found dead on a dirt road in Trilby, Fla., more than 25 miles from their homes, on July 29, 2006. Each had been shot multiple times.

On August 10, 2006, cops say Henry made a phone call. He told police that he didn't kill Derek and Ray, but he knew who did.
Two Years Later, A Break In The Case

Luc Pierre-Charles Jr. is wanted by police for the murders of classmates Derek Pieper and Raymond Veluz.

Cops say the initial investigation centered on Jeremy Hanson Henry, an associate of Pierre-Charles, and Jenkins, who was also known to carry guns. As the investigation of Henry intensified, Henry told Pierre-Charles and Jenkins to turn themselves in to police.

On August 10, 2006, cops say Henry made a phone call. He told police that he didn’t kill Derek and Ray, but he knew who did. Henry had been with the group that night, but left before the shooting occurred -- and he named Pierre-Charles and Jenkins as the killers.

On August 13, 2006 Henry was found shot to death and another of Pierre-Charles’ associates, Commie Lateel Pattmon, was charged with his murder.

Nearly two years later, on July 24, 2008, deputies finally had enough information to issue warrants for Pierre-Charles and Jenkins. That day, Jenkins was arrested in a traffic stop.

“We got just got lucky,” Det. Lisa Schoneman of the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said. “Minutes after the warrant was issued, he was picked up.”

Cops say Jenkins was charged with two counts of first degree murder, and possession of cocaine and marijuana with intent to sell. But Pierre-Charles is still on the run, and cops say he is armed and dangerous.

Pierre-Charles' Whereabouts Unknown

Raymond Alphonse Veluz, 18, was killed July 28, 2006, only months after moving to the Pasco County, Fla. area.

He was last seen in Wesley Chapel, Fla. in May 2008, when police arrested him on Polk County charges of home invasion and aggravated assault.

Cops say a Pasco County deputy stopped Pierre-Charles for a traffic violation, placed him under arrest and put him in the back seat of the car. Pierre-Charles asked if he could hand his wallet to his cousin through the window, but when the deputy lowered the window, Pierre-Charles reached through and tried to open the door.

After struggling with the deputy, Pierre-Charles climbed out of the window. The deputy shot him with a taser, but while he waited for the taser to recharge, Pierre-Charles escaped. Cops say he has been hiding ever since.

Deputies put Pierre-Charles in the back of the police car, but he escaped custody before he could be brought back to the station. Cops say he has been in hiding ever since.

Pierre-Charles is now wanted for two counts of first degree murder, resisting arrest with violence and battery of a law enforcement officer, in addition to the Polk County charges, according to police.

Cops say Charles has family in New Jersey; Miami, Fla.; and Haiti. He may also be in Georgia; Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; or in Lake or Polk Counties.

Charles is tall and thin with no known scars or tattoos. If you have seen him or know where he might be, call our hotline at 1-800-CRIME-TV and help us take this dangerous killer off the streets. All tipsters can remain anonymous.

Information valid as of last update.
