If you are going to buy drugs, don’t use a dead person’s name.

A woman was arrested after she tried to fill a prescription using the name of a dead person.

Alyce Heath, 32, was arrested at the RX Pharmacy in Dade City. She tried to pick up a prescription of Xanax in the name of a person that died in February

According to reports, the pharmacy became aware of what was happening when they received an anonymous call about the situation. The pharmacy then called the Dade City Police Department, who was then called when Heath came into pick up the prescription.

Police said that Heath admitted to refilling the prescription two other times after the person, who she said was a friend of hers, had died. They said she had previously picked up prescriptions for him prior to his death.

Heath was charged with two counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud. She was booked at the Pasco County Detention Center. Bond was set at $10,000.
