Memorial set for murdered fire captain
Tampa, Florida - A memorial service has been scheduled for a Hillsborough County Fire Rescue captain killed in a fatal shooting.
Chris Artigas' body was found with two others in a suburban Tampa home Saturday. Artigas, a captain and 23-year veteran of the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, was married with two sons and a daughter.
Hillsborough fire Capt. Bruce Delk says authorities expect a big turnout at the Wednesday morning memorial, at Van Dyke United Methodist Church, 17030 Lakeshore Drive, in Tampa. The service is set for 11 a.m. and will include an honor guard and a “last alarm” radio tone for Artigas.
