Police Officer Injured.

Police responded to a domestic violence call.
Officer Tony Trigo was knocked unconscious Saturday morning while attempting to arrest Anthony Powell.
Anthony Powell, 28, was able to “push” the officer down and crack his head on the concrete. Other officers found Trigo unconsciousness and had to perform CPR. They were able to resuscitate Trigo.
Powell was found barricaded in an apartment with the domestic assault victim and two children. Police were able to force their way into the apartment and arrest Powell without further incident.
Powell is currently in jail without bail.

12- Battery (Second or Subsequent offense)
13- Domestic Battery by Strangulation
14- Battery (Domestic Violence)
15- Battery (touch or strike)
16- No Valid Driver’s License
Officer Trigo was a Trauma Alert and transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital (Trauma Center), Officer Trigo did regain consciousness. No other information at this time about the condition of Officer Trigo.
