Steven Alfano, 47, went from loving caring dad to accused of murdering his 15 year old son.
This took place in Springhill, FL on Friday, June 27, 2008. Steven Alfano wanted his son to know the rights and wrongs when it came to partying.
So Steven decided to do the fatherly thing and teach his son, his own flesh and blood how to properly snort drugs.
On Friday night, Steven decided it was time to teach his son how to party. Steven went to the medicine cabinet, which he reported to authorities was locked so no one else could get to the medications, and decided Steven needed to know how to snort Oxycodone and Methadone.
That’s right, Steven Alfano wanted to teach his son how to crush and snort Oxycodone and Methadone.
So he did just that, dad and son partied and the next morning around 0900 hrs, His son Vincent was not breathing. 911 was notified.
Steven apparently done CPR until fire rescue arrived on scene, but it was too late for Vincent.
Even though Steven Alfano reported the he kept his medications locked away, he told others a different story. Two of Vincent’s friends stopped by and talked to Steven, they were wired and Steven told the two that he knowingly gave the drugs to his son to teach him to party.
On 08-01-2008 at 1455 hrs, Steven Alfano was arrested for murder and child neglect.
Steven is now being held in jail without bond.

My neighbor came over to my house and yelled at me over my dog!
I have a dog that I can't keep in my yard. I have tried everything and she always finds a way out. Anyway, this lady comes to my home, knocks on my door and when i open the door she points her finger at me and yells obscenities at me. Apparently my dog was in HER neighbors garbage and then pooped on HER NEIGHBORS LAWN! Why didn't she come and talk to me like a civil human being? Why was she a vicious monster attacking me at my door? I calmly went over to HER NEIGHBORS house where the garbage was and picked up every piece, and the dog poop. I agree that I have that responsibility to clean up after my dog. The one thing I don't agree upon is someone coming to my house and screaming in my face about something I didn't know about. Is anyone out there been blessed with a psyco-neighbor?

On August 2, 2008, you ran a story about a father who was arrested for providing his son with the drugs that lead to his death. Just thought you may be interested to know that he is out of jail, bail was reduced and he was bonded out by his wife Pamela Alfano, who was the mother of the child who died, Vincent Alfano. He is currently at a Hernando county Hospice center where he is being treated for an alledged stroke and complications due to AIDS. He is on an ankle monitor.
