Give me money for beer or I will kill you…
Wait; let me kill you and steal your 6 dollars and then I can buy beer with the money I stole from you.
At least what Alan Michael Tanguay, 16,was thinking. Palm Bay Police have arrested Tanguay for first degree murder.
Apparently he is accused of fatally cutting 58 year old Patricia Kaliszeski throat.
He used a knife from her home and stole approximately 6 bucks in cash from her and he wanted to buy beer with that money.
Kaliszeski was found dead, face down in a pool of her blood in her home on Friday and Police were able to arrest Tanguay on Monday.
According to media reports Kaliszeski was found in her bedroom with her throat cut and multiple stab wounds in her neck.
Police reported they had information from at least two witnesses and they both pointed their fingers right to Tanguay. Apparently Tanguay was stupid enough to ask someone to buy beer for him with the money he stole. Not to mention he was also stupid enough to tell witnesses statements only the killer would know.
In addition to the witnesses, Tanguay confessed to the crime during his interview with police.
What’s wrong with this picture? A 16 year old killing someone for 6 bucks for beer?
First we would have to wonder where in the heck were the parents. And what kind of life did this kid have if he was so desperate to drink beer that he decided to viciously kill someone over it.
There has not been a lot of other information released about this case that I can find at this time. There was no arrest information that I could find on line at the time of writing this post. So I will keep up with this case and see what else we can turn up.
It would be interesting to find out what was going through a 16 year old brain and why he thought it would be appropriate to murder someone for 6 bucks for beer.
