Well we should ask Allahmanamjad Barbel, 21.
Barbel showed up at a Barnstable, Mass., police department with 1 handcuff on.
Barbel told police he was at a child’s party and was handcuffed and he could not get the cuff off of his wrist.
Well the police decided to run a quick check on Barbel and found out he was wanted.
Barbel had outstanding warrants for driving suspended, leaving the scene of an accident, threatening to commit a crime and making annoying phone calls.
Once police learned Barbel had the warrants, they slipped the play cuff off and replaced it with the real handcuffs.
Even if you were handcuffed and wanted, would you really want to go to a police station and ask them to remove the handcuff?
I’m thinking hacksaw…lol
I guess we live and learn but at least the action Barbel took, saved the police a lot of time and effort to arrest him for his outstanding warrants.
