Officer A. DiPonzio shot, 14 year old turns himself in.

Another young teenager lost to crime…. Tyquan Rivera shot a police officer.

Tyquan Rivera, 14, turned himself in for shooting a police officer in Rochester, NY.

The police were in a neighborhood investigating drug activity. One rookie police officer was walking back to his car and was shit in the back.

Officer Anthony DiPonzio, 23, was hit once in the back of the head. He remains in guarded condition after undergoing brain surgery.

Rivera turned himself in to the police, now get this…

He walked into the police station with a lawyer. That just blows me away, that a 14 year old already has the need for a lawyer.

This crime has baffled police. The shooter was some distance away and was not involved in the crime the police were investigating. Some have said this was more of a sniper type shooting and should be something we see in war, not a city street.

It has been reported that DiPonzio is improving but his prognosis is still unclear.
Now this part is what I have been saying all along.

The police now say they need to know more about Rivera and his family life and they need to try to figure out why this happened.

Sadly for Officer DiPonzio it’s a little late but I’m sure he will want to know why he was gunned down by a teenager.

Keep Officer DiPonzio in your prayers.

I think that teenage crime rate is increasing day by day. It feels sad to think how these children are giving in to criminal activities.

I agree. The more I read every day it seems like children are starting younger and younger in criminal activities.

Sadly nothing seems to be getting done to get this issue under control.

Thanks for the comment
