If you taste the Rainbow while eating Skittles, it may be narcotics….
That’s right a 4 year old girl got to taste the rainbow at Tampa International Airport when she ate a bag of Skittles.
The grandfather was with the child and opened the candy for her. The grandfather reported that the bag of candy was sealed up when he opened it.
Police think the bag was opened and Oxycodone or Oxycontin was placed in the bag of candy and then it was resealed.
Of course TIA in the interest of public safety pulled all the flavors of Skittles and the checks of the other bags of candy found no sign of foreign substance and no obvious sign of product tampering.
The girl was hospitalized and is expected to make a full recovery. Police and TIA are unsure where the candy came from since that flavor of Skittles is not sold at Tampa International Airport.
Pretty sad that a 4 year old innocently ate narcotics and had to be hospitalized. It makes one wonder if this is a new way they have to smuggle drugs onto planes.
Before long I can see it coming that no bags of candy will be allowed into an airport…
Folks beware… Check your candy before you eat it... If not you may very well taste the rainbow…
