Happy Halloween

I wanted to a take minute and tell everyone

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

I hope as you are out enjoying your Halloween night you can avoid the ghost, goblins and monsters in your neighborhood.

As you take your children out to trick and treat remember some of these safety tips…

Stay in well lit areas.

Keep a flash light with you

Keep your children off the streets as much as possible and make sure they obey traffic signals and laws.

Consider reflective material on your child’s costume and parents can consider using a reflective vest to warn traffic if necessary.

Don’t go to neighborhoods you don’t know.

Keep up with your children and don’t let them run away from you or your group. Do not let them trick or treat alone.

Inspect all candy and apples (And other fruits) if any appeared to be tampered with in anyway, do not eat and consider calling the police

Make sure your children are aware of the potential dangers of strangers and they cannot at any time accept a ride from any strangers. If they are approached by a stranger, have your child scream for help and run.

Avoid costumes that can obstruct the child vision or ability to walk or run if needed.

Check the costumes and make sure they are made of flame resistant materials and of course keep children away from candlelit jack-o-lanterns.

Of course remember your church or other organized Halloween festivities are usually the safest place for your children during Halloween.

Even though there are safety regulations in place and well advertised every year, according to the American College of Emergency Physicians the most common Halloween injuries include eye injuries from sharp objects, burns from flammable costumes and children hit by cars as they walk and run around your busy neighborhood.

Stay safe and crime free and if not your case might be reviewed here on
True Crime Cases by The Jakester.

Happy Halloween Everyone....And watch out for the Ghost in your area....
