That’s right a life sentence plus 1.152 years.
I doubt if this guy will ever see the light of day again without looking through the bars of the prison.
Of course this day and age it’s no telling, they might appeal and win since such a sentence is cruel and unusual punishment. Just joking, I think they probably should have just sentenced this guy to death.
Is there really a reason to keep someone alive to serve life and 1,152 years?

Willie Clark, 26, was sentenced to life in prison plus the 1,152 years for the shooting death of the Denver Bronco’s player Darrent Williams.
Willie Clark was a member of the Crips street gang.
Hint here for all people considering joining an illegal street gang,

Clark was not a very outstanding member of society. Clark had prior felony convictions and was convicted of 16 counts of attempted first degree murder and aggravated assault.
Maybe his criminal history advanced his career in the street gang, but it certainly done nothing but add over a 1000 years of prison time to his sentence in the eyes of justice.
Talk about another senseless murder, this definitely qualifies as senseless.
The murder took place outside of a club. Williams and some of his teammates were there for a New Year’s Eve celebration.
Apparently Clark was jealous that the club was showing preferential treatment to Williams and his teammates. Clark apparently started some type of altercation inside the club and Williams and his teammates decided to leave.
As they were leaving the club attempting to get into the stretch hummer, Clark drove by and his SUV and started shooting. Clark sprayed the hummer with bullets and struck Williams.
Sadly for teammate Javon Walker, Darrent Williams died in his arms.
To make matters worse Clark was seen smiling in the court room. Family of the slain football player had asked Clark to show some remorse for what he done and instead of remorse he was seen smiling.
Maybe this murder qualifies him for another tattoo from the Crips gang.
This is about one of the most senseless murders I have read about in a long time.
There was nothing that I have read so far about what the preferential treatment was.
Was it that the footballs players got drinks faster than Clark?
Did they get appetizers and Clark did not?
Did they get more free peanuts than Clark?
Regardless of whatever Clark thought it certainly did not call for the murder of any person.
Even though this murder was senseless and the murderer showed now remorse for the killing, what do you think about the sentence?
Do you agree with the sentence?
Anyway, I don’t follow the NFL any more and have not for several years but it’s just sad that a player was murdered for no reason at all.
I personally think they should have sent him to the death chamber (as with any murderer)

Yeah, sure. Being dead doesn't hurt. Let him rot in jail - preferably among Broncos fans.

You are right, being dead does not hurt. But at the same time it hurts us to house an inmate for the rest of his life with a year average cost of 50,000 bucks a year.
So even if they sentenced him to death and they carried out that sentence in 20 years, that’s 1,000,000 that we have wasted to keep a murderer alive.
And for what, so he can suffer in prison?
We have people suffering each and every day but we do nothing to help them because so much money goes towards providing inmates with everything the need to live.
Take my case for example, I became disabled in Feb and now with the cost of medications that I take, I have wiped out all of my funds and have applied for assistance through many different agencies and have been refused at all levels because they have no funds.
Yet a neighbor that was in prison for 10 years and he is right back to all of his drug habits. The state pays everything for this man. They pay his rent, his power; give him food stamps and free medical care because he was an inmate.
Yet I have never been arrested or given got a ticket for that matter and I have been in public service all of my life. (Since age 15)
Now I face eviction and they want to repo my car, but this druggie stays home and parties every single day and they pay everything for him. All the time while I have worked my entire life and most of the time 2 jobs and often times 7 days a week just to pay for my medical expenses.
To me something is not right with out system and part of the problem is we allow people to murder and then smack them on the wrist.
And in the mean time we have to spend our tax dollars to keep them alive
And again I must ask for what?
So they can suffer in prison. What about me, what about people like me? Suffering lose over medical issues and we get no assistance.
This man committed a very senseless act and took another human beings life.
It’s just a shame that my tax dollars have to be spent on a piece of crap like this.
I would much rather help someone maintain their home or health than have to worry about spending a 1,000,000 for an inmate to suffer in prison for 20 years. And just think of the total if he lives for another 60 years….
Is it really worth it?
Granted it would help if he was among Bronco Fans but it still does nothing to help anyone in society thats in the process of losing everything while once again we will pay millions to keep a murderer alive for the life plus 1,152 years.
I just thank God he cannot live the entire 1,152 years...
