In Pasco County a father is in jail for manslaughter.
Bernard Michalsk, 22, was at home with his 2 and 1 year old son when his girlfriend came over.
Michalski elected to leave his 1 year old unattended in a bath tub while he tried to have sex with his girlfriend.
As his 1 year old was unattended, he drowned in the tub. The drowning took place in March and Pasco just now decided to charge him. He was arrested on 08/26/2009 at 0900hrs.
Michalski was charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child and child neglect.
Of course hearing about this case and a child neglect charge it still makes me wonder why Misty Croslin Cummings has not been charged with a crime.
Anyway, according to the sheriff’s site he is still in jail.
