James Blue arrested… Stupid Criminal still = Quick Arrest
James Blue arrested… Stupid Criminal still = Quick Arrest
Ok, I know on TV you get to see all the sex that the police get to encounter as a daily part of the job but in real life, James Blue, 40, decided he wanted to get in on that action.

James Blue has been accused of impersonating a police officer.
Blue decided it was time for him to work the street as a cop. He went out and got a fake police badge and went out on patrol in his undercover police car.(A 1995 Pontiac Firebird)
It wasn’t long before Blue found an 18 year old victim and he coerced her into his car and then drove to an area of S. Fort Harrison Ave and then made the victim perform sexual acts in lieu of being arrested and taken to jail.
How funny would it have been if the victim refused? Would Blue been dumb enough to actually drive her to the jail?
I guess Blue never thought that the victim would rat him out since he done her such a big favor by not taking her to jail.
Anyway, Blue’s pathetic and desperate need for sexual activity landed him in jail for kidnapping, sexual battery and impersonating a police officer.
Police arrested Blue at his place of work and they were able to recover the fake police badge during the search of his undercover Firebird.
Of course, this is my opinion only, but I think Blue probably defines undercover a little different than any actual police officer.
According to the Sheriff’s Site Blue has a bail of $420,000
Police feel there may be other victims.
So anyone with information contact the Clearwater Police Department

Now just to bring up a sex topic in police work…
I know from many years of working the street and making many, many traffic stops a day people would offer all kinds of services to get out of a ticket.
I have had women expose their breast, make sexual statements, attempt to touch and almost anything else you can think of.
I have even had men offer to provide different services to get out of a ticket.
None of which I ever took anyone up on.
With those offers came my counter offer of arrest for attempting to bribe an officer.
Now if I had lower professional standards I could have done a lot with a lot of different people every day and I can honestly say never once did I ever partake in any of activities they offered.
Don’t get me wrong some of the women were so awesome and beautiful, I wanted to take them up and sometimes thought about it, but when it came right down to it I never took anyone up on their offer.
The main reason was the professional standards I maintained as a police officer and I think now even more than professional standards, I was a by the book kind of cop so that
I never tolerated a lot of anything from anyone. I was more interested in writing more tickets or making more arrest than getting mixed up in some scheme like that.
On the flip side, I did know officers that did take people up on their offers and sadly it always had a bad outcome. Divorces, break ups and lead to some even being fired.
Now days I’m sure some of it still happens, but I honestly I could not see any police officer getting mixed up in something like that. These days everyone has a camcorder and ready to record anything and everything and then they rush right to the local media station and you're on the 6 o'clock breaking news.
Even as a paramedic it’s alarming how many people want to start some sexual conversation or make offers or attempt to make that social hook up and then it turns into the paramedic being accused of rape or sexual misconduct.
It does not happen as often in the paramedic position but none the less it still happens.
