Armed robbers shot by the victim… Way to go Victim….

Over in Winter Garden an armed civilian decided he was not going to become a victim of an armed robbery.

The victim decided to go to a Wachovia bank early Friday morning to get some cash from the ATM.

Once he arrived at the ATM, all of the sudden a silver vehicle approached him. Then 3 suspects jumped out of the silver vehicle and fired shots at the victim.

What did the victim do? I think he said NOT ME.

Unlike some that would have just handed over the cash since shots were fired, this victim decided these punks would not steal from him.

The victim grabbed his gun and started shooting back. Sadly he only hit one of the suspects.

Some officers were nearby and heard the shots fired and started to respond to the location and as they arrived one officer followed the silver vehicle and the other went to check on the victim.

Of course like most desperate criminals these 3 decided to run. Police pursued them and they eventually crashed.

Once they crashed apparently they decided to run on foot.

Of course one suspect was shot at least 3 times. One was taken into immediate custody as the third suspect is still on the loose.

The suspects were

Tommie Ward, 18 (The suspect that was shot 3 times)
Patrick White, 19 was arrested on the scene.
The third suspect remains on the run

Police said the one on the run is a black male, between 19 and 20.

What a shame, 3 more young people involved in a violent robbery attempt and they almost lost their life for a few bucks.

The victim was not injured and the suspect that was shot remains in stable condition.

Even though they had all the resources on scene the third suspect is still on the run and the police do not know if he is armed.

So I would suggest if you know anything about this that you call the police immediately.

I still don’t understand being so young and it’s no telling how many times they have robbed, stolen or been involved in illegal activities.

Sadly the attempted armed robbery will land them all in prison for some time.

I think it’s awesome that the victim was armed and was able to shoot back. The worst part is he missed 2 of the suspects.

It would have been a lot more interesting if each had got at least 1 bullet in them.

Maybe next time they will think twice before attempting another armed robbery.

Police said in the statement they released that more and more people are now armed and more are starting to take action against the suspects.

Criminals beware, we the people will not be a victim of your crimes anymore….

I THINK THEY SHOULD GIVE HIM A MEDAL FOR STANDING UP FOR HIMSELF. I'M NOT ALL FOR USING GUNS, BUT WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO YOU OR SOMEONE TRYING TO HURT YOU. I'M ALL FOR DOING WHATEVER YOU GOT TO!

I agree with you Daniel.

More and more people are taking up arms to protect their lives, homes and property.

I as well agree with the fact that if it comes down to me or them, rest assured I will do whatever to make sure it's them and not me...
