Domestic Violence… Charlie McCall has a simple solution, set your gf on fire..

Over in Marion County, Charlie McCall, 50, has been arrested for

1) Damage Property – Criminal mischief-200 dollars and under.
2) Aggravated assault- Weapon – with deadly weapon without intent to kill
3) Aggravated battery – Person uses a deadly weapon.
4) Probation Violation from Lake County

McCall was apparently intoxicated and decided to beat his girlfriend until she was unconscious on Tuesday night.

According to the girlfriend McCall kicked her, punched her and severely beat her with a tire iron.

Now if this wasn’t enough McCall decided to take his abuse to the next level as his girlfriend laid there unresponsive.

McCall then started pouring gasoline in his girlfriend’s mouth. She then regained consciousness as McCall grabbed matches and threatened to set her on fire.

I guess it’s a good thing that McCall had been drinking because during the torture of his girlfriend, he decided he needed to take a bathroom break. So when McCall left the room it gave his girlfriend time to escape and that she did.

She was able to escape without being set on fire and she was able to notify the police.

Now just an interesting side note…

Does anyone care to take a wild guess why McCall was on probation in Lake County?

If you guessed arson, you got it right…

Well at least with the Probation Violation he now has no bond. So hopefully it will give him a long time to dry out and think about the errors of his way….. (Doubtful, but one can hope)

I Love My Marriage tee shirt just did not seem appropriate for Bradley Gellert…

Add another one to the stupid criminal column.

Bradley Gellert, 32, got into an argument with his wife. Which domestics aren’t nothing new and a lot of people seem to argue and have problems but this guy all decked out with his I love my marriage tee shirt decided to start throwing things at his wife.

Now if literally throwing a temper tantrum wasn’t bad enough, he also grabbed her around the neck and slammed her down to the ground. She only received minor injuries from the assault, bruises and a broken heart…

As soon as the assault was over, the wife went directly to the police. Gellert was “kind” enough to follow her to the police station, so it made the job of the police pretty easy, they did not have to go hunt him down to arrest him.

I’m thinking if I commit a crime, I don’t think I would follow anyone to the police station. I think I would be a hard person to find, but hey that’s just me lol

But of course it would make the world a lot better of a place if people committed a crime and then drove directly to the police station. It would save thousands of dollars being spent to hunt these people down.

Now this shirt…

Is a promotional item for the movie Fireproof, a Christian themed movie. For some reason Gellert wearing the shirt seems even less appropriate now.

Looks like the wife is taking the appropriate action through the courts and there has been a temporary injunction served on Gellert.

This tee shirt was able to draw national attention to temper tantrum that a financial advisor laterally threw and landed him in the slammer.

Family Feud and no I’m not talking about the Game Show…lol

This Family Feud resulted in a gun shot wound, victim and stepdad ending up in the same jail.

What ever happened to the family time around the dinner table? I don't think family time took place in this household.

How does a victim end up in the same jail as his shooter? Good question. Here’s how it happened

Michael Bass, 21, called for help. Bass said he had been shot. Paramedics rush to the scene and find Bass standing there holding a bloody towel against his abdomen. Apparently he was shot with a small caliber handgun. Then the next thing they knew, Bass said his stepdad had shot him.

Police arrest Richard Hayes, 37 for the shooting. Off to jail he goes. At some point Hayes told the police he thought that Bass had wanted to fight with him and since he has some neck/back problems he elected to shot Bass.

Now you ask how Bass ended up in the same jail as his stepdad? During the course of the investigation, police ran a check on Bass and learned he had outstanding warrants for failure to appear.

So once he was treated and released from the hospital, police took him into custody and transported him to the same jail has his stepdad.

Hopefully this jail has the ability to hold them in separate areas and they have no further conflicts.

Now this brings up a tough dilemma for mom.

Who does she support in an incident like this?

Does she continue to support her son? Or the man she loves and married?

Who would you support in a situation like this?

I think this would be a tough call. Now for me I think it would be family first. But of course we don’t know all of the circumstances surrounding this shooting. But I don’t think I could turn my back on family.

Should be interesting to learn more about this case, I hope we learned a lot more about the family situation.

Mom asked 6 year old son to get a knife

Mom asked 6 year old son to get a knife

And he did. Brittney Lovette, 22, was in an argument with her ex-boyfriend when he stopped by to give her money for their children. During the argument Lovette asked her 6 year old son to get a knife, he complied with his moms request and brought a knife to her.

Lovette stabbed Keith Paige in the chest and hand while they argued in the driveway of her home.

The stabbing was not enough so Lovette also threatened Paige’s friend, saying she was going to throw a brick at her vehicle, according to the report.

Witnesses and Paige told responding deputies that Lovette ran inside with her four children, and she was found hiding with them in a closet.

Lovette, of Palmetto, is charged with domestic aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

A sheriff’s report on the matter did not indicate the extent of the injuries suffered by Paige.

According to the Sheriffs site

She has been charged with Great Bodily Harm/Disability/Disfig

She is being held on a $10,000 dollar bond.
