Marie Moore killed her son and then herself…

In Casselberry the 44 year old mother, Marie Moore planed out a murder-suicide.

Moore left a note and recordings for someone named King. The note was found by family members and said

“Hi King, I’m sorry to leave you like this. I know this is a horrifying thing. I hate leaving you behind, but I had to save my son and send myself to hell for what I’ve done. I’ve screwed everything up for us.”

In her recordings she said that she had to go to hell “so there can be a thousand years peace on earth.”

There were some video images from Shoot Straight shooting range released.
Now the question of the hour is why was she there?

Apparently Moore had been banned from the gun range in the past and Moore had been hospitalized for mental problems. Moore called her recent hospital stay a mistake.

There was also nothing noted if her recent hospital stay was the result of a Baker Act.

As of this post, I have not read anything anywhere stating why she had been banned from the range before. But the million dollar question remains…

Why would the range allow someone with mental problems to even be at the range with a loaded weapon? It was reported that she had been suicidal for the past 7 years since she had a mental breakdown.

Is business that bad that they had to allow any one walking in the door to load up and fire away? How safe does that make other shooters feel? Not knowing if the person next to you is a person suffering from mental problems that could have been baker acted in the past. Not that I have a lot of faith in the Baker Act system we have here in Florida, but someone diagnosed with mental problems should never be allowed in a firing range.

Please don’t think I’m blaming the range for the deaths, I have no doubt that her plan would have been carried out even if she wasn’t allowed into that gun range.

I also find it odd that no one reported any unusual behavior prior to the murder-suicide, but yet friends were able to report to the media that they think Moore killed her son to protect him from the world.

Accused Murderer Matthew Wyrosdick has a bond…

Accused Murderer Matthew Wyrosdick has a bond…

The recent post about Matthew Wyrosdick was a bizarre series of events that cost a 1 year old child his life.

The first post on Matthew Wyrosdick is here

Now even though Wyrosdick initially lied about what happened to the police and paramedics, Wyrosdick called the police several times and said he needed to talk to them.

Shortly after those calls the police conducted a second interview with Wyrosdick and he confessed to the truth of what really happened.

Wyrosdick appeared in court and a bond of $100,000 was set for him. I guess we should be happy that he at least has a bond; I would think with the manor that he killed the 1 year old he would be held with no bond period.

In case you forgot he shook the child, making his head snap back and forth, violently slammed the child down on the picnic table seat, once the child fell over, he shook the child some more and then tried to make the child walk and drug him by his arms. If that wasn’t bad enough, Wyrosdick then picked the child up, spun him around causing him to hit his head on a stair railing.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, to continue his torture he dropped the child on the floor from various heights.

Now first we need to ask where the parents were during all of this.

They are now in the media claiming they are upset and they think that The Department of Children and Families failed to provide the proper services to their children.

The parents even went as far to say they have reported child abuse to the DCF before yet according to the DCF there were no calls from the boy’s parents to the State abuse hotline.

Earl Johnson, the boys father, said Wyrosdicks discipline was a little rough.

DCF had placed Zachery and his brother with Wyrosdick care in August.

The reason for this placement was both parents were arrested.

Now the parents claim they are upset and because they think the system failed them.
Personally I think the parents failed. If they had not both been arrested, DCF would never had the need to intervene and place the children with Wyrosdick.

But in this day and age, the parents are doing the same thing everyone else does, cause a problem and then take no personal responsibility and then blame someone else for their problems.

Child Killer in jail…. Matthew R. Wyrosdick arrested.

Matthew R. Wyrosdick, 32, has been arrested for aggravated manslaughter after he abused his 1 year old nephew.

Zachary Cole Johnson was airlifted to the hospital emergency room where he later died from his injuries.

Wyrosdick called 911 and told the medics that Johnson fell and hit his head on a coffee table.

According to the doctor, the injuries Johnson had did not match what Wyrosdick said.
Even the medical examiner stated that the injuries were consistent with “shaken baby syndrome”

The day after the baby was airlifted to the emergency room, Wyrosdick allowed the police into his home and they video tapped a demonstration by Wyrosdick of how Johnson was injured.

Apparently Wyrosdick conscious got the best of him and he called the police several time and said that he needed to talk to them. Then he elected to be truthful and tell the police what really happened to the 1 year old.

The affidavit reports that Wyrosdick became upset with the 1 year old because he would not sit down at the picnic table.

So Wyrosdick elected to pick up Johnson and shake him which in turn caused his head to snap back and forth. Then if shaking the baby wasn’t enough Wyrosdick said he violently put Johnson in the seat.

Now if that wasn’t bad enough, when the 1 year old fell off the picnic table he hit his head and Wyrosdick became more angry and picked him up and shook him some more.
Then the child killer decided to make the child walk and grabbed the kid by the arms and spun him around and caused the child to hit his head on a stair railing.

Wyrosdick still decided this wasn’t enough punishment for the 1 year old, so in his statements to the police, he dropped the child to the floor 3 times from different heights.

Needless to say after his second video tapped confession, he was arrested and transported to the Polk County Jail.

Wyrosdick is being held with no bond.

What a scumbag. Sadly we will have to pay for this man to be in prison for a long time. Wouldn’t it be so much cheaper to shake him, hit his head repeatedly and drop him from various heights until he dies?

More Bullets in Polk, Walter Farley was not as lucky... He was shot to death.

New Years Eve, a time to party, a time to celebrate, a time to bring in the new year and a time to kill your 93 year old father.

Walter Farley was murdered in his home on New Years Eve.

Apparently at first site the crime scene appeared to be a home invasion gone bad. The shooter shot dear ole dad during a party at the neighbor’s house that was complete with fireworks. Police think the fireworks were able to cover up the sound of the actual gunshots that killed Walter Farley.

Robert Farley and his wife lived with Walter for the last 4 years in order to care for him in his home. Now a lot of information has yet to be released about this case and one has to wonder all the typical questions one has in a case like this. All the who, what’s, when, where and whys.

What is known is on New Years Eve Robert and his wife checked into a motel to celebrate and when they returned home on New Years Day, they found Walter Farley shot to death and called the police.

Apparently his plan failed to make this look like a home invasion gone bad since Robert ended up telling the police where he disposed of the weapon.

Police Dive Teams were able to recover a .38 caliber handgun from Lake Wire.

Now Robert Farley has been arrested for the murder of his father. Wonder if the wife had any involvement in this case. I’m sure we will learn more about her involvement (if any) as this case progresses.

Police have said Robert Farley has yet to express any remorse to anyone about this crime.

Son kills mother and confesses, Kevin Simmons now in jail

Son kills mother and confesses, Kevin Simmons now in jail.

Sunday, August 3, 2008

Medical alert notified police that Dorothy Simmons needed help. Then a 911 call came into dispatch from the Simmons residence. It was Kevin Simmons wife; she reported a disturbance in the other room.

Now police have Kevin Simmons in custody for the murder of his own mother.

Kevin Simmons, 57, confessed to killing his mother according to deputies. The reason for the murder is unknown at this time and we may never know why Simmons killed his mom.

Simmons was reported to have repeatedly beaten his mother, Dorothy Simmons, 81, with a telephone and a remote control and if the beating wasn’t enough he decided to take his own mom to the pool.

Once he got mom to the pool, he threw her in and then elected to stand on her to hold her underwater.

Simmons’ son, who was visiting, found his dad holding his grandmother underwater in the pool.

Police reported its unknown if the trauma or drowning was the official cause of death and they will have to wait for the medical examiners report.

Simmons is in jail with no bond and
at the time of this post no arrest records were available on line for Kevin Simmons.

Simmons wife and son were home and sleeping at the time of the incident. Unfortunately even with the quick 911 notifications it still was not enough to save Dorothy Simmons.

True Crime Cases would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Dorothy Simmons.

12 year arrested for murder

12 year arrested for murder.

In Cochise County in Douglas, AZ police were called to a residence close to the Mexican border for shots fired.

Earlier in the night it was reported that an argument broke out in the Madrid household. The mother, step dad and a sibling were home when the argument broke out. No one has reported what the argument was over. The mother and step dad decided to leave for a little while.

Not sure why they elected to leave. This proved to be a fatal mistake for Sara Madrid, 34. Once Sara Madrid returned home, her 12 year old opened fire with a handgun and Madrid was hit multiple times.

Investigators started providing first aid to Sara Madrid when they arrived on scene. However, she later died at the hospital. No one else was injuried.

Even though they were busy providing first aid, they also were able to take the 12 year old son into custody. The 12 year old was booked into the county juvenile detention center.

He has been charged with first-degree murder.
