Walker Middle School Back in The News, Randall Moye takes a plea agreement.

The now 15 year old Randal Moye has taken a plea deal in his participation in a long term bulling incident at Walker Middle School that ended when they sexually assaulted the victim with a broomstick and a hockey stick.

First and foremost why would the courts allow a plea deal to be reached in an incident like this?









Anyway, Moye who was 14 at the time of the incident and his arrest was allowed to plea guilty to felony battery.

As part of his plea deal Moye has to testify against the other 3 teen that was arrested in this incident.

In his plea deal it was discovered that Moye was one of the people that restrained the victim.

For an incident that took place over several months, the victim was bullied and one can only image the damage that was done to this kid and apparently the 4 bullies warned him not to come forward and report the incidents to anyone.

Sadly for the victim he took there threats as serious and kept his mouth shut until he was assaulted with a broomstick and hockey stick.

Even though Moye and the others are teenagers, I just don’t see anyone of them being allowed to take a plea deal to save their butts over months of torture to another teen victim…

Even more sadly the incident took place in front of several other boys that were able to describe the attack on the teen and their description of the attack is now a part of the court documents.

Seems the Tampa area takes a teen crime lightly and the judges go along with plea deals and reduced charges for whatever reason.

Anyway my opinion of cases like this are simple, if it was a one time criminal violation I can agree with probation, rehabilitation, reduced charges but in cases with continuous criminal violations, I say lets show the teenage population that even though they are a teen, we will not and cannot as a society allow them to commit criminal offenses. Obviously my opinion doesn’t matter…

The lawyers for these teenagers that are accused of raping a classmate at Walker Middle school now claims there wasn’t even a rape.

How convenient for the defense…

The defense if claiming there was no medical evidence the boy was assaulted. Now I wonder what medical evidence the defense thinks should have been there?

Obviously there would be no DNA type evidence since the boy was assaulted with a broom stick and hockey stick handle.

I wonder if the defense has had the broom handle and hockey stick handle tested for the boys DNA….

Of course they haven’t. The prosecution may have had those tests done to see if they could find the boys DNA was on either handle.

But I think if I were the defense I would want to know the answer to those questions before approaching the media and claiming no assault even took place.

The defense is basing this on the fact that it took over a month for the boy to be examined by a doctor after he reported this to the police.

So is it games the defense is playing or could it be that there was no rape that took place? I guess we will have to wait on the court date to hear more evidence in this case.

If you remember these Walker Middle School classmates were arrested for sexually battery.

The group held down a 13 year old boy and violated him with a broom handle and a hockey stick.

The assault took place after months of harassment and bullying according to the police.

Once the investigation got underway they discovered multiple incidents that occurred on different dates.

Now with them being charged as an adult, they may have ruined the rest of their lives.

It makes one wonder where the parents where during all of the months of abuse and bullying this 13 year old suffered.

It also makes one wonder if the victim had reported any of this abuse before he was sexually assaulted with a broom handle and hockey stick.

Of course it will only be a matter of time before everyone wants to blame everyone else and no one take any personal responsibility for this incident.

The suspects will want to blame the victim, the victim will blame the suspects, the parents will want to blame the school, and the school will want to blame the lack of parental support.

So where does it stop? When will people take personal responsibility for their actions? Of course if we could keep lawyers out of this equation that would help a lot, but since they are being tried as adults now that’s not going to happen.

Anyway, the teens had to post a $15,000 bond on 1 charge and they were released on their own recognizance for the other 3 charges.

Also as part of their release the Judge ordered the teens not to have any contact with any of the other potential witnesses, coaches or other flag football teammates.

It just sad that something like this had to happen, 1 teen sexually abused with a broom and hockey stick and 3 other teens could now be a convicted felon and sex offender. And yes all this was done while in Middle School.

At Charlie Walker Middle School in Tampa, 4 teenagers have been arrested and charged as adults. They have been charged with the sexual battery of a 13 year old.

These 4 boys sit in a juvenile detention center as the victim recovers from his abuse.

The 4 teens bullied the victim for weeks prior to the attack. There wasn’t a lot of information released about the what happened and what the teens done to bully the victim around, so we have to leave it as they bullied the victim.

Then on April 30, the bullies took it one step further and sexually abused they victim. 2 of the teens held the boy down while the other two sexually battered the boy with objects.

There has been no mention of what actually took place or what objects was used on the boy.

The parents of the victim were un-aware of what happened until they received a call stating an incident had taken place on school grounds.

Now we will have to see how the courts handle 4 teenage boys on sexual charges. It should be interesting to see how the courts handle this case. I know it has already been released that the 4 teens will be tried as an adult and with some of the cases we have recently reported on with teachers having sex with students; I have to wonder if the courts will take the same lenient approach with teenagers.

Guess we will have to wait and see what happens….
