Back in February 2009 I had a post about Tailing Gigliotti, 51, who was arrested for aggravated child abuse of her adopted son.

The adopted son was 17.




As it was reported before Gigliotti kept the boy in a small bathroom for long periods of time. While he was locked away in the bathroom it was reported that the boy was beat, and Gigliotti even went as far to refuse to feed him for long periods of time. And of course all of this was while he was restrained in the bathroom or tied up in there.

Of course the window was covered with plywood and there was a lock on the outside of the bathroom door. For some reason it just does not sound like your average bathroom.

Police reported they found blood in the bathroom and they had a video of the bathroom they showed to the courts during trial. I have not seen the video but a clip of it was posted and there was a chain hanging from the bathroom door. Not your average locking device for a bathroom door in your own home.

Well the jury has spoken.

Even though Gigliotti had friends testify for the defense claiming how awesome of a person she was, she was still found guilty on two counts of aggravated child abuse.

Throughout the court procedures, Gigliotti reportedly refused to accept 2 different plea deals and now since the jury has found her guilty she will face up to 60 years in prison.

Hopefully she will receive all 60 years and this teen will never have to worry about her again.

Gigliotti is scheduled for sentencing in June.

Gigliotti even took the stand to defend her actions. While she was on the stand she testified that she never abused her teenage son.

According to Gigliotti her teenage son had actually attacked her in a sexually explicit manner and she said she was just trying to defend herself.

I wonder how long the boy had to be locked in the bathroom for her to defend herself.

The teenager told detectives that he had been naked and beaten with a plastic tipped hose for a good portion of time over 15 months.

15 months and still claiming self defense. WOW.

That is almost to the point of being absurd. Right not it just stands as utterly ridiculous.

In the first post we talked about the boyfriend, Anton Angelo. He was given a plea deal in exchange for his testimony against Gigliotti.

Even the teenager said that Angelo tried to defend him at times and was not responsible for the abuse he suffered for 15 months.

In Angelo’s plea deal he had to plead guilty to 1 count of aggravated child abuse, he will not go to jail and he will serve 5 years of probation.

Now I guess we wait till June to find out how much time Gigliotti will get for abusing her adopted son.

The adopted son is the son of Gigliotti’s late husband.

Where to place your child when buying drugs... In Philadelphia at least....

Where ol where does one leave their child when they go to buy drugs?

One would certainly hope the child is not with you when you buy drugs to start with. However, in Philadelphia a 31 year old dad wasn't smart enought to leave his child at home.

The suspect drove from Lehigh County to Philadelphia to buy drugs with this 6 year old son in tow.

However after the man purchased his drugs he had a slight problem.

He could not find his car with the boy inside.

So the suspect at least done the right thing and flagged down a police officer to help find his son, but of course
he ended up getting arrested for recklessly endangering another person once the police found the boy 2 hours later.

Could you imagine the 6 year old being left in a strange place while dad is out buying drugs.

The car was found about 1/2 mile away from where the suspect flagged down the police. The child was not harmed and turned over to his mother.

The suspect had a $4,000. bond....

So much for strike 3 and you’re out…. Jeffrey Eymann faces 1200 counts of molestation of a child under the age of 12.

Jeffrey Eymann, 53, is in jail after his ex-girlfriend’s daughter finally spoke up and told about the molestation she has been going through for years.

The DCF received an anonymous tip that Eymann had been sexually abusing the child.

Throughout the course of this investigation, Eymann confesses to the molestation and reported the he had been touching the girl 5 times a week for over a 5 year period.

There wasn’t a lot of information released about this case, except that Eymann was arrested for 1200 counts of lewd or lascivious molestation on a child under the age of 12.

This case makes one wonder where mom was during these sexual moments. Did mom leave her daughter with her boyfriend? Did she really have no clue that for the last 5 years this was taking place?

Hopefully it’s not another case like the one I just read about in PA, where mom gave her 13 year old daughter drugs and alcohol so mom’s boyfriend could impregnate her daughter all because mom wanted another child. Apparently mom thought if her daughter had a baby, she could claim it as her own. (I will probably do a post on that case before long)

I hope mom really did not have any knowledge of the sexual assaults prior to his arrest.

But this day and age, one can never tell. How sick can people be?

As of the time of this post there was no jail information available and the court site seems to be off line as well. I will post updates as soon as I can get more information.

A sad story unfolds in Hernando County…

Tailing Gigliotti, 50, has been arrested for aggravated child abuse and false imprisonment.

A 17 year old boy finally was able to escape and get help getting out of the hell he has been living in for years.

The boy was able to get to a neighbors house and asked for help. The boy had bruises and cuts to his left arm and shoulder as well as all over his head, arms and face.

Gigliotti had forced the boy to live on the hallway floor until November 2007 and then from that time forward he was locked away in a bathroom. He was only allowed out of the bathroom when Gigliotti was home. Any other time he was locked away.

This was no average bathroom mind you.

Gigliotti had to power turned off to the bathroom and she had the window covered with plywood so while the boy was locked away in the bathroom, he stayed in total darkness.

She even went as far to have a lock on the outside of the bathroom door so the boy could not even unlock the door from inside.

The report said on Sunday, Gigliotti forced the victim to strip, bound his hands with packing tape and then beat him with a piece of wood and a section of water hose. After the beating, the report said he was kept nude and locked inside the bathroom without medical attention while Gigliotti went to work, the boy was leftwith his arms bound with packing tape and a bungee cord formed a noose around his neck and Gigliotti left and went to work.

After his last beating, the boy finally said enough was enough. The following day he was able to escape from the home. While he was locked in total darkness, he manages to break the bathroom door open and made it to his neighbor’s house.

Once the police learned of what had been happening, they obtained a search warrant and turned up evidence that supported the 17 year olds story.

They found blood stained pieces of wood and a piece of blood stained water hose. They also discovered the plywood covered window and the lock on the outside of the bathroom door and if the outside lock wasn't enough the police also found metal "L" brackets that bolted the door shut.



The victim told police he had not been allowed to sleep in a regular bed for more than 3 years.

Gigliotti turned herself in after the investigators obtained warrants for her arrest.

She is in jail on a $15,000 bond. Does not seem like much of a bond for years of torture the child has suffered.

The victim was taken into State custody and taken to a hospital for treatment. They found he had a broken bone in his right forearm and several lacerations and bruises. There were also a number of bruises and scars from previous beating.

Sadly, we cannot subject Gigliotti to the same treatment she forced upon the boy for years. It’s really sad that we cannot even make her sleep on the floor in a dark cell with no lights.

God forbid if we would mistreat a piece of scum like Gigliotti.

She's since posted a $15,000 bond. Her live-in boyfriend, Anton Angelo, possibly faces charges, too, according to the sheriff's office.

Why the teen didn't escape earlier is because Taiwanese culture emphasizes subservience to adults, although certainly not to this extreme. The teen was also told that he was an illegal immigrant and would be deported if caught.

But Gigliotti finally pushed the teen beyond his breaking point.

**** Different media sources has released the teens age differently. Some have reported he was 17 at the time of his escape and others said he was 16 at the time of his escape.

More and more child abuse, when will people learn not to mess with children?

What’s the world coming to when a Taco Bell bathroom is not safe for a 4 year old?







Just ask Brian Wedsel Lowery, 23.

Apparently Lowery was at a Taco Bell on James Redman Pkwy when he entered into a public bathroom right behind a 4 year old child.

Lowery did not know the child and once in the bathroom a witness reported that he walked in the bathroom and observed Lowery with the 4 year old in a bathroom stall.

Lowery exposed himself to the child and started to perform a lewd act in the presence of the child. Then Lowery performed a lewd act on the child. The witness then called the police.

Just a shame that one cannot let there child go to a public restroom without the fear of something like this happening.

Of course, one would think that with a 4 year old the parent(s) would at least escort their child to the restroom, but I guess that taco took a little more priority than the 4 year old.

During this post I was responding to a comment made by a CNN reporter that said we needed to stop arresting people who commit drug violations and send them to rehab. The reporter claimed the courts were too busy and if we sent the druggies to rehab and not jail, the courts could better serve justice.

I could not believe she made such a statement with the current daily drugs problems all over the USA.

Within this post I made reference to a case that took place in Forth Worth, Texas. This case involved two men coaxing toddlers into smoking marijuana. Now being the smart idiots they were, they also elected to video tape the toddlers as they puffed away.

Still not bad enough to make the stupid criminal list well let me give you some more details and I’m sure this will rank these 2 right up there as the stupid “burnt out” criminals they are.

The video showed the toddlers (who were 2 years old and 4 years old at the time) smoking and coughing as the one teen directed the toddlers to pass it back and forth to his brother, so of course authorities wanted blood test from the toddlers. Test results revealed the toddlers not only had marijuana in their system, they also had cocaine in their system.

Now that should surely rank them right up there as some pretty stupid criminals. But I think there is more. Now if you were stupid enough to record an even like this, what would you do with the video? I would think most reasonable people would hide it, lock it up in a safe and throw away the key. Keep it somewhere out of the hands of the police since the video showed their stupid criminal activity.

But who am I to say? I guess they stayed so smoked up they could not even remember the video tape. So they were careless with the evidence against them and it was discovered by the police.

How did the police get the video tape? Good question, in 2007 the police was investigating a home burglary and there searching the home of McCoy. The police found the tape during that investigation and arrested Demetris McCoy, 18 and Vanswan Polty, 20.




Vanswan Polty pleaded guilty to two charges of causing injury to a child and three unrelated burglary charges before his trial began.




That’s about the only smart thing he has done in this case. He faced anywhere from 5 years to life if convicted on the original charges, but with his plea he was sentenced to up to 7 years in prison.






McCoy was sentenced to 8 years in prison after pleading guilty to injury to a child and burglary charges this summer and had agreed to testify against Polty.




The mother claims she was in another room sleeping while the incident took place and she avoided charges in this case. For whatever reasons the mother did elect to terminate her parental rights and not the children who are 4 and 6 years old are being adopted.

This is a sad case. McCoy lived with the mother and children and it makes on wonder if this was a regular event in this household. It would be interesting to learn more about why the mother terminated her rights. If it was something that was going to happen regardless or if it was something she wanted to do to continue with a lifestyle that did not involve children.

Luckily for the children they now have a place to live and hopefully grow up without the influence of drugs.

This case reminds me of someone I personally know. He is under the impression that marijuana is a good thing and refuses to accept it is illegal. He stays high daily spending every penny of his money for drugs to keep that high going and takes no personal responsibility for anything in life.

He uses cocaine and marijuana to the point he is unable to even get a job now because his habit is so bad and has turned to male prostitution to make a living. So he sales his body for sex with older men that are willing to pay him and provide him with the drugs he wants and needs.

Why are the druggies the only ones that thinks marijuana and cocaine (or drugs in general) are a good thing.

Now just to make it clear, I have never hired an escort, I do have personal knowledge of his business since I was trying to help him out of the situation he is in. But I think I have failed miserable. He still continues to use drugs daily along with escorting as many people he can in a day to get the drugs they provide and the money they give him for sex.

I have also never once in my life used any illegal drug. Most people find it funny how I even learned what marijuana smelled liked. Now keep in mind I grew up in a small rural area and drugs where pretty much unheard of where I grew up. But anyway, take a wild guess where I learned what marijuana smelled like…

Padmaja Enjeti, 37, said she had already dropped her 22-month-old daughter from a second-floor balcony inside her home last month when she called 911 to report the incident.

Now since it wasn’t enough to drop the baby once, Enjeti told the dispatcher, “I did it again” when she returned to the phone.

Now the defense attorney is claiming his client has mental health issues and has been suffering from schizophrenia since her daughter was born in January 2006.

I would hope that the defense would claim she had mental health issues, I cannot see a sane person dropping a baby twice over a second floor balcony.

But Enjeti tried to explain her actions. She said the baby had been fussy and would not eat. So she placed the baby in a play area on the 2nd floor in her home. The baby continued to be fussy and still would not eat. Police then reported that Mrs. Enjeti became angry and frustrated.

Once she became frustrated, she tossed the baby over the railing of the balcony.
Her response to that was 'I tried to kill her'

At the start of the 911 recording, the baby can be heard crying in the background.
"My daughter is dying," Mrs. Enjeti told the dispatcher. "I tried to kill her."
She said, "I pushed her from the stairs ... from the ceiling."

The dispatcher asked Mrs. Enjeti a series of questions, and the Plano woman said that she no longer wanted to kill her child. Moments later, the phone call disconnected. The woman called back and Mrs. Enjeti, who was at home alone, told her to hold on.

The baby's crying had subsided but resumed and grew louder, even as it seemed like she was getting farther from the phone. Then there was an audible thud and screaming.

When Mrs. Enjeti returned to the phone, the dispatcher asked, "What did you do?"
"I just did it again," Mrs. Enjeti replied. "I pushed her from the ceiling again."
She did not respond to further questions from the dispatcher and was breathing heavily.

"I'm out of control," Mrs. Enjeti said before walking away from the phone.
Thank God the baby was not seriously injured. She ended up with contusions.
The initial charge was injury to a child and latter since the child was not seriously injured the charge was changed to attempted capital murder.

Sivaram Enjeti, Mrs. Enjeti's husband, also testified during the hearing. He described how his wife had been hallucinating that friends from Chicago were in their house and invisible. She also believed that her husband was gay and having an affair, said Mr. Enjeti, who denied this Tuesday.

Because of her hallucinations he was under treatment and taking Haldol nightly until the day she called the police to her house.

Judge Dry reduced Mrs. Enjeti's bail but issued several conditions, including that she have no contact with her children unless approved by him or the judge handling custody issues.

The 22-month-old and her 8-year-old brother were both removed from the home the day of the incident and placed in a foster home by Child Protective Services.

In a custody hearing Tuesday afternoon before state District Judge Cynthia Wheless, prosecutors played the 911 recording used during the bail reduction hearing. Judge Wheless ruled that Mr. Enjeti would regain custody of the couple's children

Dennis Rivera Arrest Condition of Baby Updates—

The condition of the baby has been updated today.




Some news channels reported that the Doctors are planning an Electroencephalography. (EEG)--This is the measurement of electrical activities produced by the brain

The baby is reported to have 2 black eyes including a severe head injury and bruises on the back and legs.

Now this update coincides more with the witness reports of the baby being broken up.

Which I find odd since the police report simply stated the baby was unresponsive, bleeding from the mouth and airlifted to the hospital.

I would hope Law Enforcement would be graphic enough in a report to let everyone know that’s involved in this case just how severe this case is.

I wonder if the lack of detail could explain the bond being set at $5000 initially.

Thankfully the judge over ruled that bond and still holding Dennis Rivera with no bond.

And as sad as it is to report, the condition of the baby was reported as grave.

Rivera Update

Apparently from media reports today, Dennis Rivera has admitted to beating the baby.

Now different sources have reported differently in the headlines regarding this case.

For example, one site said man arrested after toddler was found hurt and another station reported Man admits to deputies he savagely beat toddler.

And yet during his confession, Rivera claims he struck the child once with an open hand.

Apparently from reading the arrest affidavit, the baby had been fussy so the mom elected to smack the child in the face. When the baby continued to be fussy, mom asked Rivera to take over with their calming efforts of the child.

So Rivera being the man he is, elected to hit the baby one more time. He claims he smacked the baby with an open hand.

However, the smack was hard enough to cause the baby to become unresponsive and bleed from the mouth.

Now Rivera and Mom, attempted to revive the baby…

What did they do you ask? One of the dumbest things I think I have heard in a long time.

They elected to throw water in the baby’s face.

And why not throw water in the baby’s face, I mean after all he was unconscious and had no way to protect his own airway. Who am I to say? And why should we expect something other from them, instead of trying to figure out why the baby was “fussy” they elected to smack the baby in the face. So obviously rational thinking is not an issue with them.

When this failed to work, Rivera told mom to take the baby to the neighbors and call for help since they don’t have a phone.

At least Rivera was smart enough to have her call for help, it’s a shame they weren't smart enough to not to beat a baby.

After the 911 call, the police and paramedics arrived and the baby was airlifted to the hospital. Then the baby had to undergo emergency brain surgery.

Rivera elected to flee the scene before the police arrived. Now where does a child beater run too? Rivera ran to his mother’s home.

Mom did cooperate with the police and she helped coordinate his capture. She had it set up where Rivera could turn himself in to the police at an office depot parking lot.

Just sounds funny, violently attack a baby and then run to your mom… What a man.
Anyway, sorry about that, getting a little side tracked here.

Now this case got a little confusing at this point because the witness statements and the information in the police reports does not match up.

Neighbors reported the child was broken up badly and was covered in wires, yet none of the reports released today have indicated anything about wires or the baby being broken up. One neighbor said there was no way this could have been an accident because the baby was in such a bad condition.

Regardless of the confusion in the case, I just wonder what the court was thinking by only setting a bond of $5000. Just seems like a pretty low bond for someone that beat a baby to the point of needing emergency brain surgery.

I’m also a little confused as to why the mom has not been arrested at this point.

She as well confessed to smacking the baby in the face because he was fussy and yet she remains free.

I have been reading at different blogs and that some people think all they need is some counseling. WTF?

Why is it that when something this bad happens the first thing people think, the parents need to go to counseling.

I think they have passed the window of opportunity for counseling.

They are the cause of a baby needing emergency brain surgery.

If counseling was needed, why has no one stepped in before now? Surely there have been other issues with both mom and dad thinking the only way to calm down a fussy child is to smack the child in the face.

Update

After making this post, I was reading some other reports and it now has been reported that Rivera made his first court appearance today.

The Judge ordered that he be held in jail with no bond.

Thankfully the judge intervened and now has set an appropriate bond for Rivera.

Now the boy’s mother is reporting that she heard her son scream and ran in to rescue him and she splashed water in his face in hopes of reviving him, when that failed, she ran outside to call 911.

The boy’s mother also reports now that violence is a routine part of her relationship with Rivera. She reported today that she had been beaten at least 20 times in the past by Rivera. The attacks started after she moved here from Chicago in September.

The boy’s mother also reported she was not allowed to leave her house unless she was escorted by Rivera or his mother. She stated she feared for her safety if she attempted to leave.

Truly a sad situation and there is no easy solution to a problem like this. My sister was in a violent relationship for 7 years. She refused help and even moved further away from her family to make him happy.

He wanted her as far away from me as possible since I was still working Law Enforcement at the time. Not that it mattered, they lived in a different state, but he was fearful of me and with good reason I might add.

Finally after 7 years of trying to help her out, she was beaten severely and striped naked and when she escaped from the house she was running down the street naked on Christmas and she was later hospitalized for a week for her injuries sustained in her last attack.

Finally she decided that she had enough and finally left him. But it nearly cost her life before she decided to leave, so I can understand part of the reason she stayed in a violent relationship.

It still makes no sense whatsoever. With the resources we have available today there is no reason for anyone to live like that.

Even worse, Rivera’s mother had to be aware of what was going on, why did she not intervene? Was the mother in fear of her own son because of his violence? So it would be interesting to see what mom has to say.

This information has left me with a lot more questions than answers.

Baby severely beaten and hospitalized in Orange County

Dennis Rivera, 24, has been arrested for aggravated child abuse.

Rivera was at the Cypress Club Apartments, when the neighbors called 911 stating they heard a mother screaming that her child had been injured.

The police have not released a lot of information about this case at this time.

The baby is 18 months old.

Once Deputies and paramedics arrived on scene, it was determined that the baby needed to be airlifted to Arnold Palmer Hospital.

The current condition of the child is unknown; investigators are trying to keep a tight lid on this case right now.

They were kind enough to release the most important information though

1) A crime was committed
2) An arrest has been made

I would say the condition of the child is critical, since it has been reported by media on TV that investigators are prepared to upgrade the charges to murder if the child should happen to die as a result of this severe beating.

What in the world is wrong with people in this day and age?

Why would anyone have a need to beat an 18 month old baby?

Is it to be a man and make the baby listen and not misbehave or cry?

Actually as much as I would like to know more, I don’t know if I want to know more about this case. I’m sure I will post more as more information becomes available but this is yet another case where I hope they take the most severe action against the accused.

David Onstott is now in prison for life

David Onstott is now in prison for life.




Onstott made his apologizes in court before he was sentenced. He apologized to Sara Lunde’s mother Kelly May. Onstott said "For what it's worth, I'm sure she doesn't want to hear it," Onstott said. "Kelly, my condolences. I'm sorry”

I could probably agree with Onstott when he said to Kelly that he was sure that she did not want to hear it, I’m sure she did not want to hear it nor did anyone else.

This coming from the man that pleaded not guilty at the beginning of trial.

Now we have successfully wasted all the time and resources of the court for some lame attempts from the defense to spare a killers life.

This trial could have gone either way with the defense successfully getting some of the evidence thrown out of court. But the prosecution still had some key witnesses up its sleeve.



During the trial we got to hear from Daryll Daoust, 18, who is a former friend of Onstott.





Now I’m not sure what the purpose was of having him testify that he had sex with a minor child twice, but the main goal of the prosecution was to prove that a beer bottle left in Lunde’s house belonged to Onstott.

After Sarah was found missing Daoust said Onstott went back to the trailer for his unfinished beer.

Of course we also got to hear during trial the phone conversation where Onstott whispers on tape to his mother that he killed her. Then sadly the defense was able to have Onstott’s taped confession to the police thrown out of court and even more sadly the prosecution elected not to pursue the death penalty in this case.

We got to hear that Onstott, while in jail was using his skills to teach other inmates how to take someone down. The one inmate testified that Onstott put his arm on my throat and had his arm around me and kinda choked me down. Onstott told his inmate friend to tap him on leg when he started to lose consciousness and he would let go of him.



Then during the trial we got to hear from a former detention deputy.





Former detention deputy Brian Herndon took the stand and testified that Onstott said he went to his ex-girlfriends house for a booty call and once inside he got into a fight with her daughter.

This testimony was seen as key testimony since the case lacked any physical or forensic evidence to convict Onstott.

But the defense failed miserably. They may have spared his life and for reasons I will never understand why, but in the end he was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison for his crimes.

 Finally he is where he belongs. Only if he was convicted of his other crimes he would never had the opportunity to kill Sarah Lunde.

And all Onstott could say for his confession was my condolences and I’m sorry.

Kelly May said she didn’t care to hear the apology from Onstott, but she did want people to hear the taped confession with the detectives just six days after Sarah was killed.

This is the confession that the defense got thrown out of court so the jury never got to hear it. Here is a brief transcript of what was said

During the interview, Onstott told the detectives he did it.

Onstott: "I did it. Are we done?"
Detective: "What's that?"
Onstott: "I did it."

Then detectives continued questioning him about how he did it.

Detective: "You said you remember choking her."
Onstott: "I remember choking her. I don't remember where."
Detective: "You don't remember where? Was it inside the trailer? Was it outside? Was it in the lanai?"
Onstott: "I don't remember. I know, I know, I know I choked her."

Since Kelly May knew about the confession all along she pleaded with the judge to take Onstott off the streets for good.

"I just beg of you don't let him out again," she said. "Please don't for society's sake. Because it will happen again."

That brings us to the end of the Onstott case. He was convicted and now in prison for the rest of his life right where he belongs.











This case was handled awesomely by the prosecution. Without physical or forensic evidence they still claimed victory to a life sentence for a registered sex offender that turned into a vicious cold blooded child killer.

When is enough, enough?

Ryan Christopher Wilborn, 22 was arrested on Monday. He has allegedly seduced a child over the internet.

Wilborn apparently had a history of communicating with minors on line. Some how the Sheriff’s Office received a tip in July of the communications Wilborn was having with minors on line.

Wilborn had been chatting with someone he thought was a minor, and under the age of 16. The chats were sexually explicit.

After some chats a meeting was arranged for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity.

What Wilborn failed to realize is he was chatting with a Detective from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children Unit.

Wilborn soon found out who he had been talking too as he arrived at the undisclosed location, he was arrested.

John Vazquez

John Vazquez apparently had no issues with having sex with an underage girl. A lot of details are not available about this case at this time, but what we do know is John Vazquez is in jail for sexually battery.

New Port Richey Police has charged John Vazquez with sexual battery after he impregnated an underage girl. Vazquez was 33 at the time of the incident and the girl was 12 when she gave birth.

Vasquez was arrested in Orange County where he had a Winter Park address. He has been transferred to Pasco County Jail.

Vasquez bond has been set at $75,000.
